- Douglas Albee, owner of D &
H Motors, has been an automobile admirer since very early in life. While
still in high school he worked part time in a transmission shop in
Phoenix. After graduating
from Ramona High School in 1961, he started to work for Moss Motors in the service
department as a repair technician. After attending several factory training courses
at Chrysler to improve his knowledge and skills, he became a Master
Technician. He also worked for Toyota of Riverside as an AC
technician.
- He drove two race cars co-owned by
his partner and himself. In 1971, he started in the used car business and since that time D & H Motors have been
known in Riverside as a business with integrity, excellent customer service, and a place
to visit when looking for quality used vehicles.

- Doug is involved in the car industry
as well as in his community. He has been an active member of the IADAC (Independent
Automobile Dealers Association of California) for over 20 years and served as Vice
President of this organization for the Southern California Chapter in 1992, he also was
Chairman of the Illegal Dealer Task Force, and served as part of the Insurance
Committee. In addition, Doug is an active member of the Magnolia Center Rotary
Club and is a past president for 2002, 2003. He recently received an Award from the Club and from the California State
Assembly in behalf of the Mental Health Advocacy Council for his involvement as Chairman
for the November 1997 Magnolia Center Rotary Club Food Drive that provided ample amounts
of food and toys to 32 needy families of the Inland Empire during the Thanksgiving
Holiday.
