Usually cars in top condition offer more value for the buyer.  It is important to compare mileage and condition of the vehicle before making a decision to buy.  It takes more money (and time) to put a car in top condition than to buy it in top condition to begin with.

2. KNOW WHO WILL STAND BEHIND YOUR CAR IN CASE OF A MECHANICAL FAILURE 

You should always understand your warranty and what is covered under it.  Check on how long the dealer has been in business with the same ownership and what kind of reputation it has.   Also inquire who will you talk to in case of a breakdown.
